I have been a long time admirer of Dawn’s paintings. Each piece she posted on social media amazed me. Such talent. When I was looking to add a piece of my childhood to my new home, I asked Dawn to recreate a painting of a farmhouse that was in my family. I sent her a picture, and she created the most beautiful landscape, using the farmhouse as the focal point.  It was exactly what I envisioned. I had the privilege of seeing Dawn’s work of some fairies she painted for my mother in law. The technique she did in the background is beautiful. I knew I had to reach out to see if she could do a blue heron for my husband’s birthday. Not only did she go over and above by providing the frame, but her painting is breathtaking. My husband and I commissioned Dawn to do a drawing of my grandson and our beloved dog from a picture we captured of a tender moment between the two before our dog had passed away.  Dawn’s pastel art piece of them looks so real! She captured the lighting and every detail of them just so perfectly. Dawn was also very quick at producing that piece for us as it was a birthday gift and we were leaving for Vancouver with it. In the past few years, we’ve acquired two paintings from Dawn. First one caught our eye—it was an Elvin character from Lord of the Rings. Gorgeous piece of art.
Second painting was a portrait of my Wife at her 40th Birthday. I wanted Dawn to capture that candid moment on canvas. Wow! What an emotional moment when she was presented with that special piece of art.
